Product Description
Calcium Alginate Wound Dressing, Absorbent Patches for Ulcer, Bed Sore, Diabetic Foot |
Calcium Alginate Wound Dressing intended for use on more exudation wounds, it can be used on normal epidermis wounds, and dermis wounds can only heal by secondary intent. Dressing keeps the wounds moist and absorbs the exudation of wounds.
Directions:
1) Cleanse the wound in accordance with normal procedures.2) The dressing should be slightly larger than the wound area. Apply the dressing gently to the wound surface.3) Cover with an appropriate retention dressing. Wound exudate will evaporate from the gel surface; the secondary dressing should not hinder this evaporative process where exudate is heavy.4) In general, when the dressing has fully absorbed the effusion should be replaced in time, or according to the doctor's order and the actual clinical situation.5) To remove the dressing, use tweezers, forceps or a gloved hand to gently lift the dressing away. The dressing may adhere if used on a very lightly exuding wound. Removal of the dressing is facilitated by saturating the wound with sterile saline.6) Calcium alginate wound dressing should not be used for more than 7 days, and the continuous cumulative use time shall not exceed 30 days.
